Our AGM is on May 1, 2019 and is fast approaching!
We are very excited to be hosting our keynote speaker, Nanky Rai (@NankyRai). Nanky is a first generation settler from India-occupied Kashmir, and an anti-colonial and health justice organizer. She is formally trained in public health and practices as a primary care physician. She will be speaking about applying anti-oppressive principles to our work as healthcare providers, advocates and activists.
The AGM will be at the Worker’s Action Centre (Unit 223 – 720 Spadina Ave, Toronto, ON). A light vegetarian dinner will be served at 6:00 pm. Keynote will be at 6:30 pm, followed by an election of our 2019-2020 steering commitee, a review of this year’s work, and brainstorming for the upcoming one.
***The AGM is free-of-charge but please RSVP by obtaining an electronic ticket on our Eventbrite Page so we can get an idea of numbers for food***

Information on how to register as a member for the 2019-20 year will be provided at the meeting. Membership fees are $25 or pay-what-you-can. Please bring cash to the meeting if you are interested in being a member.
