People are dying on the streets of Toronto because of a chronic lack of affordable and accessible housing. The current waitlist for subsidized housing is over 10 years. On September 22, HPAP joined the Ontario Coalition Against Poverty for a rally and march on Toronto’s East side, to demand that more housing, shelter beds, and safe space become available.
